VERDANT CANDLE

It begins with the snap of an unripened fig pulled straight from the branch in a hidden grove along the Provençal coast.

Bitter, milky sap beads at the stem and sticks to your fingers, while crushed leaves release their sharp, aromatic freshness into the warm afternoon air beneath a canopy of leaves. Fresh fig and raw greens melt together into a scent that feels like a discovery; nature’s secret magic, found by accident and remembered forever.

Our Craft

Our scented candles are made in Grasse, France which has a long history and tradition in perfume-making. We are committed to fair environmental practices and follow strict European quality and production standards. Our candles are always free from palm oil, dyes, paraffin- and mineral wax.

Our candle boxes are made by a woman-owned business in Ukraine.

As ordinary freight routes are affected and no longer reliable, we coordinate the journey with the producer directly, working with a driver that brings the packaging from Kyiv to the Polish border. From there they reach Grasse, where the boxes are assembled and each candle is placed inside by hand.

Boxes occasionally arrive with a scratch or a pressed corner. The candle inside is protected and in perfect condition, and we will replace the packaging if you would like us to.

Perfume-Grade home scents

Our formulas are optimised for scent throw, longevity, and a clean burn. Housed in a matte glass vessel, each candle contains 10% perfume oil - double the industry average - and burns up to 50 hours.

Scent throw can be affected by ventilation and the size of your space. For bigger spaces we recommend more than one candle for a consistent scent throw and experience.
